Hey, It's me! Heather.
I have been told on many occasions that I need to start a blog. Every time I just laugh it off. This time I didn't laugh it off. I am here. I am hoping that at some point my words or thoughts can help someone that needs it. But I will save all those kinds of things for another day. Today I am going to introduce myself. Give you a little glimpse of who I am. I have been married to my husband for 11 years. The story of how we met differs based on who is telling it. Considering the first time I met him he lied and said that he was his friends cousin from California I don't really count that as meeting him. I was 17 when we "officially" met. He was about to leave to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While he was gone for two years I graduated high school, got a job, and learned how to patiently wait for the mailman to bring a letter from my missionary each week. Shortly after he got home we were married in the Salt Lake Temple.

That picture always cracks me up. Jumping heels has never been a strong quality of mine. Basically heels in general are my kryptonite. Anyone else the same way?

This is my cute family now. Emma is 10. She has the sweetest light about her. She is such an incredible peacemaker. She has this way of making friends that just floors me. Peyton is almost 7. She is the sassiest little thing. She's like a sour patch kid. No joke. But she has this incredible light about her that just makes you smile. Last our little caboose. Cooper. He brings so much joy to our family. He has got a smile that can melt anyone.

I have been a cosmetologist for 10 years. Which is so crazy to think. I was one of the first graduates from the Aveda Institute in Provo. I absolutely love doing hair. For me it is such a fun way to connect with people and help them feel beautiful and confident. I also have a passion for clothes. I am a retailer that sells LuLaRoe Clothing. I have loved watching the changes and the styles that are coming from LuLaRoe. I am also a stylist at Mark Anthony Salon. Here they use Aveda products which I absolutely love. (We will save all my favorites for a different blog post). There is a little bit about me. Stay tuned for posts ranging from my favorite hair products to how I have dealt with the grief of loosing my father, and the journey of my kids epilepsy.
